What's new in our Version 4.1 Christmas update?
Improved Render Speeds!
With this update, we’ve greatly improved the render speed of our video transitions. The release of V4 Peregrine already laid out a foundation for our new GPU accelerated plugins. Now with the 4.1 updates, you’ll be able to save even more time across the board. This update solidifies our position of having the fastest video transitions in the market today, with a more than 800% performance advantage compared to similar products on the market. And in turn, this will save you lots of time and money spending less time on your project to render.
Improved Resource Management and Stability
Another major feature of this update is the improved resource management and stability of our plugins. This will help improve the performance of rendering high-end projects on lower spec machines and graphics cards. It will provide a better overall user experience.
New Features
Now that’s all good and well, but how about some new toys to play with?
No worries, we’ve got you covered on this front as well!
Essentials Collection:
We’ve added high-quality chromatic aberration to our Push Impacts, Roll Impacts and Stretch Impacts video transitions. This will give these already great looking transitions a truly professional upgrade.
Furthermore, we’ve also added a new desaturation feature to our Flash Impacts video transition.
This new feature will be particularly helpful for creating a powerful flashback effect.
Distortions:
We’ve updated our Flicker Impacts video transition to make use of our new GPU Acceleration technology, which vastly improves the rendering speed of this versatile transition.
